The Tata Nexon Camo Edition arrives at a well-timed moment: with the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift freshly launched and the compact SUV segment more crowded than ever before the festive season, Tata has responded not with a price cut but with a feature push. Launched at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Camo Edition adds two exclusive colours, a larger touchscreen, and an integrated dashcam to what is already one of India's best-selling compact SUVs — and it does this without touching the mechanical package that buyers already know.

The edition also carries a milestone as its backdrop: the Nexon has now crossed 11 lakh customers across nine years in the Indian market.

Two new colours — and they're genuinely different

The most immediately visible change is the paint. The Camo Edition introduces two colours exclusive to this variant: Munnar Mist, a dark green shade with grey and golden undertones that shift noticeably depending on the light, and Coorg Cloud, a more understated grey-silver. Both are inspired by South Indian hill stations and are not available on any standard Nexon variant. Beyond the colours, the exterior changes are intentionally restrained — Camo badges on the front fenders and Camo-themed perforation on the front seat headrests. Tata isn't trying to make it look like a different car.

The real upgrade is inside

The headline cabin addition is a new 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the 10.25-inch unit on the equivalent standard Nexon variants. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is carried over. Alongside the larger screen, Tata has added an integrated dashcam that works through the SUV's four surround-view cameras — it records continuously, saves footage automatically during an impact, and lets drivers view or transfer clips via the infotainment screen or a smartphone. USB storage goes up to 256 GB.

Higher variants build on this base with a seven-function ADAS package, ventilated front seats, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, a 360-degree camera with Blind Spot View Monitor, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a wireless charger. Not every feature reaches every variant — check the specific persona before confirming a booking.

Engines: unchanged

The mechanical package carries over from the standard Nexon without modification. Buyers can choose from a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol producing 120 PS and 170 Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel with 115 PS and 260 Nm, and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol CNG unit rated at 100 PS and 170 Nm. Transmission options span a 6-speed manual, an AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic depending on the powertrain and variant chosen. Six airbags, ESP, and five-star ratings under both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP are carried over as standard.

Prices (ex-showroom)

The range spans ₹9.99 lakh for the entry Creative Camo variant with the petrol manual to ₹13.94 lakh for the Fearless+ A PS Camo with the petrol DCT automatic. Full variant-wise pricing across petrol, diesel, and CNG combinations is available at Tata Motors dealerships and the official website. The Camo Edition is available for a limited period only.

Flaming Piston's Take

The Camo Edition isn't a mechanical refresh and doesn't try to be. It's a well-timed feature-and-colour upgrade for the festive season that gives Nexon buyers two genuinely exclusive paint options and a larger screen at no change to the starting price of the Creative variant. The integrated dashcam with surround-view recording is the kind of practical addition that's harder to dismiss than a badge. If you were already shopping the Creative or Fearless trims, this edition gives you more — just verify which features make it to your chosen variant before confirming a booking.

The Nexon Camo Edition competes directly with the 2026 Maruti Brezza — if you're cross-shopping the two, our full Brezza vs Nexon comparison breaks down which one makes more sense for your priorities.
